Amery Bohling studied Painting at the University of Arizona. She also spent a year in France at an art school that focused on plein-air painting. After college she studied with a variety of successful painters who taught her how to paint and teach.

She has been featured in Phoenix Home and Garden Magazine, American Art Collector, Plein Air Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine, Western Art Collector and more. Her work has been shown in the California Art Club Gold Medal Exhibition, Settlers West Miniature Show, the Oil Painters of America National Show, the Grand Canyon Celebration of Art, and Arts for the Parks. She was also a main stage artist at the Plein- Air Convention.

Amery teaches at the Scottsdale Artists' School in Arizona, and holds private lessons in her Gallery/Studio.
