Creative arts therapy, also called expressive therapy, uses the creative process of the making art (visual art as well as dance, drama, music) to help people of all ages with disabilities, dementia, illness, stress and much more. Creative Aging is just one wonderful aspect.

Because we believe that the benefits of creating art are so numerous and important, we’ve included this option in our profile signup forms.

If you specialize in Creative Arts Therapy, you’ll be able to select from these audience groups:

To promote an individual’s art teaching expertise, lesson options and availability, choose Teaching Artists category.

To advertise upcoming art education events with specific dates (lessons, workshops, classes), choose Art Workshops category.

To attract art students to a physical location where art is taught, choose Places to Learn Art category. Types of Venues include:

“Workshop” is our all-encompassing term for any visual arts education event / class with a specific start and end date. We welcome group classes, workshops, intensives, camps, tours… as long as it has a teaching / educational component.

If you have any art-education sessions, field trips, tours or other events at your art show or competition, then please add them to our Workshop Directory.

How do I submit a workshop listing?2019-06-17T08:35:03-06:00

Sign in to your account or create a free account on ArtCantina.com

Enter all of your information in the Submit Listing Form and then pay for that listing.

After payment, we will review your submission (usually within 48 hours) and upon approval, activate your listing.

Membership is free. All you need to do is provide your first and last name, email address and password. Then check your email for the final confirmation link to activate your account.

Membership is required to submit a listing to any of the Directories.

Do I also need a directory profile when listing workshops?2019-06-17T13:57:36-06:00

A detailed profile in our ArtEdu Directory is the perfect place for potential students to discover you and your work. And your profile will be visible when your workshops are not currently listed in the Workshop Directory.

If you are a workshop organizer, please encourage your teachers to create profiles to establish credibility and provide a wealth of details.

How long will my workshop/event appear in the directory?2019-06-17T08:33:51-06:00

A workshop/event listing will appear for 6 months or until the event is over, whichever comes first.

Can I have more than one profile?2019-06-17T14:06:54-06:00

You may purchase as many listings as you want, whether they are profiles in the ArtEdu Provider Directory or workshop listings in the Learn-the-Arts Workshop Directory.

For example, an art teacher may want a personal profile, plus a profile for her/his art gallery that hosts classes.  And they will purchase workshop listings for upcoming workshops/art classes that have specific dates.
